As I enter into the final 24 hours of my work at UBC, I am just so touched by the people I have worked with over the past 3 years. They have made my final week brim with expressions of warmth, friendship, encouragement, and support. This both reaffirms my belief that people are the centre of any great community AND that community is an opt-in, choose-to-belong experience. If you choose to be “in” then belonging never really leaves you, regardless of where you are. I will always consider myself a member of the UBC community and feel incredibly rich in spirit to have been allowed the opportunity to work with such a talented bunch.
Thank you to everyone who has made my final week at UBC simply amazing. I leave full of gratitude, hope, and boundless inspiration from all of you.

Thank you Tlell for everything that you have done for me and the UBC community. If I think back on all of my successes at UBC, all of them have stemmed from the opportunities and inspiration that you gave me in my first year at UBC. I am eternally grateful. I know you will go on to do great things in Nepal and will keep a close eye on this blog in my feed reader (remember way back when you showed me what an RSS feed was)? You will be missed greatly by me and countless others.
See you around the Internet!
Thanks Andre – it has been SUCH a pleasure working with you as well 🙂 And I think you actually taught me how to RSS feed (I simply cannot believe that I taught you that… 🙂 Stay in touch and pass along all that inspiration to another student…keep that inspiration moving that UBC community forward. You have certainly inspired me that big ideas are possible and can happen – I will carry all that with me to Nepal.
